TCA Strong: Coming Together as a Community

As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, several members of our TCA family have lost their jobs and are suffering financial hardships. While working diligently to provide our students with the best at-home learning experience as possible, we have also been committed to responding to the financial crisis that is impacting our students and their families.

Many of you joined us in this commitment by purchasing a “TCAStrong” t-shirt for our Virtual Spirit Day that was held on May 1. Thanks to you, 357 shirts were purchased, and we were able to raise nearly $3,300 to help TCA families in need! We have already been able to provide some with tuition assistance, groceries and much needed technology for at-home education.

Unfortunately, the need is greater than our capacity to help everyone. As a result, we are participating in the global event, #GivingTuesdayNow, to raise more funds to help more of our families get through to the other side of this crisis. So far, we have raised an additional $210.00 for our COVID-19 relief fund!

GivingTuesdayNow is a new global effort that kicked off on Tuesday, May 5th to promote charitable organizations and their urgent need for support during these uncertain times. We are reaching out to let everyone in our community of friends, supporters, and volunteers know that this event is another unique way to connect with others around the world.

Whether you donate financially or promote this event through your social media platforms, know that TCA and other charities around the world are so grateful to have you engaging with others and helping connect to charitable missions and people who are doing good work!
