Essential Music Education
Trinity Christian believes that education in the arts is imperative in maintaining a well-rounded educational foundation for students while also aiding in worldview development and service to the Lord. TCA offers a full range of band and choir classes as well as private voice and piano lessons offered at the elementary, junior high, and high school level.
Trinity Academy offers five band classes available during the school day at the beginners level for grades 5 – middle school, Intermediate Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band. Expanded opportunities include the award-winning Conquerors Marching Band and the acclaimed Trinity Symphonic Band. Students also have the opportunity to participate in solo and ensemble events and various all-state and all-district honor bands. Each year, the band embarks on a Spring trip that has allowed students to perform at famous venues in Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, Nashville, and Philadelphia.
For more information about the band program at Trinity, visit the band program's website or contact Mackenzie Mowry at (904) 596-2487.
The Chorus Program at Trinity Christian Academy starts for students in grades 5 and 6, participating in the elementary chorus. From there, students can continue their musical vocal journey in the junior high choir in grades 7 and 8.
Both the elementary chorus and junior high choir perform during weekly chapel, seasonal recitals, and participate in Junior Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) competitions. The junior high choir also competes in Florida Vocal Association (FVA) festivals as well as spring trip festivals.
The acclaimed high school choir, Voices in Praise, performs annually in the Florida Vocal Association (FVA) concert festival as well as solo and ensemble events. They have been winners at the FACCS state competition several times. The choir also tours yearly, performing at famous venues in Chicago, Washington D.C., Asheville, New York City, and Philadelphia.
