Trinity Christian Academy is proud to shine the spotlight on one of its distinguished graduates, Rebecca Diley Triplett, a remarkable individual who has dedicated her life to empowering the deaf community and making a lasting impact on the lives of others. Since her graduation from Trinity in 2007, Rebecca has been a shining example of the school's core values and has truly made a difference in the world.
Rebecca's journey towards her remarkable achievements began at the University of North Florida, where she pursued her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education with a specialty in Deaf Education. Equipped with a deep passion for making a positive impact on the lives of deaf individuals, she soon found herself teaching sign language at Trinity Christian Academy from 2011 to 2013. This early experience allowed her to hone her teaching skills and ignite her desire to advocate for those with hearing impairments.
One of the defining aspects of Rebecca's life is her unwavering commitment to serving others. For the past nine years, she has volunteered as a Young Life Counselor at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. Her dedication to the deaf community extends beyond the classroom, as she also embraces her role as Deaf Ministry Catalyst with Converge International Ministries. Through these roles, Rebecca has not only impacted the lives of countless individuals but has also played an instrumental role in equipping deaf leaders worldwide, empowering them to fulfill their potential and overcome societal barriers.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Rebecca finds joy in spending time with her husband, Brian, her bonus daughter, Samantha, and her son Emerson. As a family, they cherish the opportunities to explore and experience the world together, forging deeper connections and creating lasting memories.
Rebecca's passion for improving the lives of the deaf community led her to found Hope Signs, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for deaf individuals in developing countries. Hope Signs focuses on providing access to language, education, and vocational training, ensuring that deaf individuals have the resources they need to thrive. Through her tireless efforts as the founder and CEO, Rebecca is turning her vision into reality, one life at a time, and making the world a more beautiful place for the deaf community.
Reflecting on her time at Trinity Christian Academy, Rebecca acknowledges the pivotal role the school played in shaping her character and values. The strong biblical foundation instilled during her years at Trinity laid the groundwork for her life's mission. She fondly remembers the teachers who poured into her life and continues to carry the lessons she learned as a student. The impact of Trinity on her relationship with God is evident, as she can still quote scripture learned at the school. Rebecca remains grateful for the opportunities she had to live out the biblical truths she learned at TCA, and she strives to live a life of honesty, integrity, and unconditional love, centered around her faith.
