TCA Alumnus, Andre Smith, Making a Difference
Trinity’s goal for our students is that they walk through life with a desire to make a positive impact on those around them. Alumnus, Andre Smith graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2015 after helping the football team win the 2014 state championship. He stormed into the college scene, playing as a linebacker for the UNC Tarheels before being drafted into the NFL by the Carolina Panthers. In the last year, Smith has been using his growing platform and voice for good, being both an advocate and a bringer of change. Smith realizes the importance of education, especially within minority communities, and he wants to ignite a passion for learning within young people. With the help of Lenovo, Andre Smith recently donated 600 laptops to give children in the Carolinas the resources they need to transition to online learning. He hopes that even in these crazy times, these children will continue on a path to academic success. Andre Smith has continued to live as an example of the values we uphold at Trinity, and we are proud of what he has accomplished!
