Audrey Cramer began working at Trinity in 2022 as a preschool and lower division substitute teacher. She is married with 5 children and 1 grandson. They have all graduated from or attend Trinity Christian Academy. Her favorite activities are spending time with her family and going to the beach. Through her time as a sub, she fell in love with teaching K3. She is excited to see them learn new things.

Helen Echols grew up in England and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2003. Helen has worked as a substitute and an aide at Trinity since 2011 and was excited to become a VPK teacher in 2023. She has been married since 2003 and has two daughters and a son. She loves taking her American family over to visit her parents and siblings in England. Helen Echols feels blessed to work in Trinity’s VPK program. She loves being able to create a nurturing learning environment and set children up with a love of learning.

Rebecca gave her life to Christ at the age of 16 and one year later began working with the preschool ministry at her church. This has been a passion of hers since the year 2000. Alongside her husband, she currently serves in their children’s church ministry. All three of their children currently attend Trinity. She is so thankful to be a part of the Trinity Christian family and enjoys showing our littlest conquerors the love of Jesus.

Brooke Myers was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. She has been a resident of Jacksonville since 2014. She began teaching VPK in 2007 and spent most of her summers as a young adult ministering to young children in Ireland. She enjoys being outdoors in her garden and staying active while spending time with her husband Tyler and their daughter Ashlynn.
For her, working at Trinity is an answer to her prayers. She has always enjoyed sharing the love of Christ to young ones on the mission field and now she gets the honor of doing it every day while working at Trinity.

Angela Sharp was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Jacksonville, Florida since she was 5 years old. She came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 6. Angela felt called to be a teacher when she was in 5th grade.
Family is a very important part of Angela's life. She has been blessed with two children, Kaelin and Isaac and a son in love, Josh. She loves her children... as well as her two parents...so very much.
Singing is one of her favorites! She also teaches private voice/singing and piano lessons. Angela has been teaching at Trinity since 2017. She loves teaching K4. Littles are her passion. Teaching is definitely her joy! Besides teaching the important basics of K4, Ms. Sharp wants to help her students find joyfulness in singing praises to God... and to help teach them to find ways to worship Him. When they leave her classroom she wants them to know how much Ms. Sharp loves them and how much Jesus loves them.

She is married and has 4 kids who also attend TCA. She currently resides in Fernandina Beach, FL and enjoys going to the beach, photography, attending football games, drinking coffee and hanging out with her family. She is looking forward to a wonderful school year at TCA.

Amanda Davis was born and raised in Denver, Co. She began teaching in 2010 in special education. In 2011 the Lord presented an opportunity to teach Kindergarten. She dove into this new adventure with both feet and has loved teaching Kindergarten ever since. Amanda and her husband have been married since 2013 and have four beautiful children, whom all attend Trinity Christian. Amanda loves being a part of the TCA team and helping her students learn, explore and seek the Lord with all their hearts. She is excited to see what the Lord has instore for her class this year.

Anna and her husband Craig have been married since 2005. They have two daughters, Avalynn and Aubrey, and both attend the academy. Anna loves living in the country and tending to her small hobby farm. Prior to coming to Trinity, Anna began her career in education in 2019, starting as a paraprofessional before becoming a teacher. Anna loves teaching phonics. It's the foundation to teaching students to read. Watching students piece sounds together to form a word and then a sentence is magical! She is so excited to be at Trinity and incorporate God into her teaching.

Katie grew up in North Carolina and Florida and graduated from UCF. In Orlando, she taught Kindergarten for 11 years, First Grade for 1 year, and 18-month-olds for 1 year. She is married and has four kids who are attending TCA. Katie loves teaching kids about God’s love for them and guiding their learning through games, music, hands-on activities, movement, and collaboration.
Karen Wankel

Karen Wankel taught for 6 years in the Early Intervention program (4-year olds) in a public school in south Florida. She then taught a preschool class at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida for a year and a half before coming to Trinity Baptist College to finish her degree. Miss Wankel has been teaching at Trinity Christian Academy since 2004. She taught one year of first grade, 11 years of second grade, and began teaching kindergarten in 2017.
She enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and helping friends with their small children.
I love the people I work with and the supportive environment that I work in. I also enjoy working with children and seeing them grow throughout the year as they master new skills.

Joyce Hodges is from Macclenny, FL and has lived there her whole life. She and her husband, Dale have three sons, Micheal, Alan, and Dale Gene. She enjoys reading, going to the lake, beach, and spending time with her family. Prior to coming to Trinity, she worked at a private preschool. She has been at Trinity since 2018.
Donna Anderson

Donna Anderson has a successful track record of teaching VPK and Elementary children for over a decade. Donna grew up in a family of educators, her inspiration to become a teacher stems from early childhood. Many of her summers was spent helping her mother pack her classroom and make preparations for the up coming school year. After spending summers and holidays with relatives that were dedicated educators. The love of teaching became her passion. Upon completing high school she actively pursued other job interest. Often reminiscing on her educational experience led her to enroll in Bethune Cookman University with a majoring in Elementary Education, graduating magna cum laude and a member of Kappa Delta PI Educators Honors Society.
After graduating Ms. Anderson joined the faculty at ABC Daycare where she taught VPK for several years. While teaching at ABC Daycare she gained much experience. She was inspired from her colleagues to utilize her degree to teach in traditional schools. Ms. Anderson moved forward with her career and was offered an opportunity to teach Kindergarten where she joined the faculty at Ephesus Jr, Academy. Ms. Anderson's track record began to grow then as a Kindergarten teacher and is still growing today where she now teaches at TCA as a first grade teacher. Throughout her many years in teaching since 2006 Donna has influenced her students to pray to God for all their struggles in life, be thankful for their blessings, stay in school, study hard, and seek higher education and make it happen. Donna has the passion for educating young minds and directing them in the right path with prayer to become future leaders for our world.
During her free time Donna enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Whenever she gets the opportunity she also enjoys interior decorating, horseback riding and sunflower picking.
God has truly blessed her with a beautiful family of 3 teenagers, two boys, one girl, and supportive parents. Donna has kept her children in private schools since their younger years and involved in church activities. Donna believes "Training up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it". Her children are very talented they enjoy sharing their God given talents in music, singing and drama. Donna gives all the praise to God with the blessings He bestowed on her family.
Ms. Anderson's favorite saying is " Make it Happen". She applies this phrase to motivate her students, family and friends to push themselves in hard times. She believes that "We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us". Philippians 4:13.

Katie Hardy is originally from Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Trinity Baptist College with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and has been teaching since 2013. She married her husband, Zac, in 2014, and they have two boys: Ezra and Andrew. In her free time, Katie enjoys going to the pool/beach and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Byrd has been teaching since 2020 and has been involved in education since 2017. She has spent time teaching in Haiti as well as Atlanta. Mrs. Byrd loves spending her extra time with her husband, Adam, and three children, Carter, Lyliana, and Amelia. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Byrd loves coaching softball, horseback riding, and working with foster care-based nonprofits. Mrs. Byrd loves to see the love for learning and for Jesus grow in her students’ hearts as the year progresses.

Lee Ann Jamerson was raised in Jacksonville Florida. Lee Ann received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Interior Design. After a few years of volunteering in the classrooms of her three small children she felt called to teach. She received a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida in 2007. Her, now adult, children are her joy and best friends. When not spending time with them she can be found at church, gardening, or the beach. Lee Ann loves to teach all subjects from a biblical perspective and watch her students learn, grow and fall in love with the Lord.

Mrs. Dowdell began teaching in 2003 at a Christian school in Jacksonville, Florida, and started teaching at Trinity Christian Academy in 2021. Mrs. Dowdell's goal for her students is to equip her students to be the best version of themselves in every area of their life and to give God their very best in everything. Mrs. Dowdell has been married to her husband for over 20 years, and they have two daughters, both in college. She loves to plan parties for her family and sing and shop with her daughters. Mrs. Dowdell also has a cute little Shih-Tzu named Noah. Noah is very special to her family; he is sweet and very affectionate. She has even taught him how to count to ten and add. Most of all, Mrs. Dowdell loves to worship. She enjoys singing praises to her Heavenly Father. She loves to see others grow and live out their purpose in life.

Jordyn Schreiber has a BA in Elementary Education from Saint Leo University. Originally from Gainesville, she recently made a move to Jacksonville after getting married in the fall 2019. She has been teaching at TCA since 2019. Outside of the classroom she enjoys CrossFit, fishing, hunting, kayaking, and being outdoors with her husband and family.

Pam Lamb has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and is FACCS certified and holds a teaching certificate from the FLDOE. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in Alabama and in Clay County, Florida.
Pam is married to a local worship pastor and they have a son and a daughter. She enjoys listening to her son play music and watching her daughter play sports. In addition, Pam really likes to travel and has a dream to visit all 50 states! She is active in her church, serving in the children's and music ministries.

An alumnus of TCA, Mrs. Johnson began teaching in 2003 and has taught at TCA off and on the last 20 years. When not in the classroom she enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 children. They enjoy movies, amusement parks, and swimming in their pool. When she gets alone time you can find her reading or getting a pedicure! She knew from the time she was 5 years old she wanted to be a teacher and that passion and desire has never changed. Mrs. Johnson believes that when you have the opportunity to teach a child to understand a subject they may have struggled with in the past while also getting to teach them about how much God loves and cares for them, there is not a better a job she could do.

James joined the TCA team part time in August 2017 working with the after school program, and in 2021 accepted a teaching position as the Technology enhancement teacher. In 2023, he moved into the 5th grade Reading teacher role. In addition to teaching 5th grade, James also serves as the Elementary Beta Co-Sponsor. In his free time, James loves to watch sports- especially Alabama football. Roll Tide! He also plays sports on an intramural basis, and has coached soccer, baseball, and flag football for rec/church leagues. He is also a self-published author as of March 2023, and is currently working on more projects to be published in the future. James’s greatest passion of all is working with elementary students. He is thrilled to be in the 5th grade reading role and plans to strive daily to have kids appreciate reading more. James is also heavily involved with Trinity Baptist Church, serving on the Trinity Kids and Trinity Students teams. He loves Trinity Christian Academy and Trinity Baptist Church and is looking forward to opportunities to work with your child!

Her experience as a worship leader is used daily in the classroom. She believes that students are image bearers of God, and that everyone was created to create. Heather has been married since 2009 to her husband Charles. They have 3 beautiful children. They have a set of boy/girl twins and a daughter, their bonus baby! They also have a menagerie of pets, 6 to be exact. They are passionate animal lovers.
She completed her education at UNF, where she graduated in 2007. She has a Bachelors degree in Public Health with a minor in Health Education. In 2011 she also graduated from UF Health where she received a certificate as a certified X-ray technician. Her background is vast but she is most passionate about health and wellness. She has been a health educator since 2007. She has worked predominantly with adults in her career. However, in recent years she has spent a lot of time working with children from coaching sports to working with them at church. She is very passionate about the physical education of her students and showing them all their body is capable of. She believes GOD has given us a body that can achieve great things if we learn how to take care of it.
In her free time she enjoys anything outdoors. She and her family spend a lot of their free time in the mountains of Georgia and Tennessee. They love to hike and explore. They also love the beaches of Florida. They live their best life outside. She also enjoys watching sports of any kind, especially the Florida Gators.

Mrs. Tuell is the proud mother of two grown children: a daughter who is a nurse in Indiana, and son who is serving in the US Marine Corps. She and Mr. Tuell also have 3 fabulous elementary-aged grandchildren. They love spending time with their family and walking along the beach. Mrs. Tuell loves exploring and teaching about the amazing world that God has given us. She is excited continuing to teach hands-on Science, Math, and Technology lessons in the TCA STREAM Lab.

Mrs. Yerby has been teaching at Trinity since 1984. She taught 1st grade, kindergarten and now she is teaching in our SSS class (reading program). All four of her children are graduates of TCA as well as her husband. She has three married children and four grandchildren. Two of which attend TCA now. She loves spending time with family and playing with her grandchildren. Riding bikes is one of her hobbies. Teaching has always been a passion for Mrs. Yerby and loves seeing children learn new things for the first time. Her favorite part of teaching at Trinity is being able to share the gospel and see students get saved.
