Feed the Need 2025: Two Weeks of Serving, Giving, and Making a Difference at Trinity Christian Academy

Feed the Need 2025 was an unforgettable two weeks at Trinity Christian Academy, bringing our entire school community together to serve, give, and make a meaningful impact both locally and globally. From start to finish, our students showed enthusiasm, generosity, and a heart for helping others, and the results were nothing short of inspiring.
We kicked off Feed the Need in chapel, where students were encouraged to step into service and generosity with purpose. Their response was immediate and enthusiastic. In just the first few days, they quickly raised nearly $10,000 toward our school-wide goal of $150,000, filling our campus with excitement and a sense of shared mission. But numbers only tell part of the story.
Feed the Need is designed to give students a hands-on opportunity to live out their faith, practice compassion, and understand the power of serving others.
Throughout the week, more than 1,500 students from VPK through 12th grade rallied together in an incredible effort to serve others. Their hard work produced 30,000 meals and 1,500 Blessing Bags, a powerful demonstration of what happens when our students put compassion into action. Of the meals prepared, 10,000 went straight to Trinity Rescue Mission to support homeless men, women, and children right here in Jacksonville. Another 20,000 are on their way to families in Bangladesh, stretching the impact of our students’ service across the globe.
The 1,500 Blessing Bags, filled with daily essentials, were also delivered to Trinity Rescue Mission to help meet urgent needs in our community. Together, our students didn’t just complete a project, they made a difference that will be felt both at home and around the world.
Of course, the week also had plenty of fun built in. Friendly competition, exciting milestones, and grade-level challenges kept students energized and engaged from start to finish. The enthusiasm across campus was contagious as students worked together to support TCA’s mission and make a meaningful impact. Beyond the excitement, every contribution represented real change, helping fund important needs at our school and supporting ministries that care for families locally and globally.
By the end of the two weeks, our school had raised nearly $70,000 — an incredible reflection of the generosity of our students and families. Every contribution made a difference, helping students meet their goals while supporting families both locally and globally.
Feed the Need once again reminded us of what can happen when our community comes together with purpose. Our students didn’t just raise money. They lived out what it means to serve others, practice generosity, and see firsthand how their efforts can change lives.
Every student. Every family. Every gift made a difference. And together, we moved closer to meeting needs, sharing hope, and supporting our mission — one meal, one Blessing Bag, and one donation at a time.
