Alumni Spotlight: Will & Sarah Slaton – Class of 2007

Meet Will and Sarah Slaton, proud graduates of the Trinity Christian Academy Class of 2007, who continue to build a Christ-centered life of purpose, family, and impact right here in Jacksonville.
After graduation, Will Slaton earned his BAS in Public Safety Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville and currently serves as a Plant Manager at Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete. He credits the company for allowing him to grow into leadership and is proud of the future he’s building there. Will also reflects on his time at TCA with gratitude, especially the years he spent on the football field under Coach Dorminey.
“Playing under the lights was the best,”
he shares. Though he wrestled with faith during high school, he remembers the consistent exposure to God’s Word in class and chapel. That foundation led him to surrender his life to Christ shortly after graduation.
Sarah (Hart) Slaton, also a 2007 alumna, earned her AA from FSCJ and her BS from the University of Florida. She is now the owner of Mrs. Fence Company and serves as a Sunday school group leader at Evangel Temple. Sarah shares that meeting her husband at Trinity is one of her most treasured memories.
“Trinity gave me the opportunity to gain my education in a God-fearing environment,”
she says. She is especially proud to run a successful business and credits TCA for giving her a strong academic foundation and early college momentum.
Together, Will and Sarah have been married for 10 years and are raising their three children with the same values they embraced during their time at Trinity.
Their advice to families considering TCA?
“It’s worth the money. You cannot put a price tag on your kids learning in a safe, loving, and biblical environment.”
Looking back, Will adds,
“I never appreciated Trinity while attending in high school. Looking back, I’m so thankful I did. It was a blessing.”
We’re grateful to count Will and Sarah Slaton among our alumni community and are proud of the impact they are making every day.
