Alumni Spotlight: Justin Duff (Class of 2014)
Justin Duff has built a life and career shaped by faith, family, discipline, and hard work. After graduating from TCA, Justin attended the University of North Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. Today, he lives in St. Augustine, Florida, and is the owner of JDUFF Construction Company, a licensed commercial general contracting company.
For Justin, starting his own business was a dream he carried for years.
“It has always been a goal of mine,” Justin shared. “I feel so blessed to have been given the gift of being able to accomplish that.”
Although he is grateful to lead his own company, at the heart of his decision to pursue entrepreneurship was God and family. In 2018, he married his high school sweetheart, and together they have a 4-year-old daughter and a 7-month-old son.
“My faith and my family are the most important things in my life. I started my own company because I wanted to glorify God in what I do and make the most of the time I spend with my family.”
Justin’s Trinity Story
Justin started at TCA in eighth grade and gained a foundation that prepared him for college and life outside of the classroom, while allowing him to build a core group of friends. Since then, when he’s experienced challenges, or life became difficult, he always returned to what mattered most.
“Even when I made mistakes, I was always able to come back to that foundation.”
Part of that foundation includes the community he found at TCA. Some of Justin’s best memories were created within the deep friendships he formed throughout middle school and high school. More than 12 years later, that friend-group remains a regular part of his life, providing a community that he can laugh, grow, and love God with.
Trinity’s Christ-centered focus, Justin says, significantly impacted his relationship with God. From bible class with Coach Willis to chapel, athletics, and everyday life on campus, he recalls that the gospel remained at the heart of everything.
“Everything was rooted in Christ,” Justin shared. “It helped me realize that when my identity is truly in Christ, everything else is much less stressful because I know what really matters in life and faith.”
Along with receiving a deep spiritual anchor, the discipline he learned at TCA continues to shape the way he leads his business, serves his clients, and cares for his family.
Why Trinity Matters
When asked what he would say to someone considering TCA for their child, Justin emphasized the importance of introducing children to God at a young age. He shared that TCA provides that strong biblical foundation while also offering high-quality education, competitive athletics, and opportunities for students to grow.
