Alumni Spotlight: Jacob Davidson ’06
Jacob Davidson (Class of 2006), Vice President of Global Tour, Equipment Product Strategy & Category Management at Callaway Golf, has turned his lifelong passion for golf into a thriving and fulfilling career. Based in Carlsbad, California, Jacob plays a leading role in developing and launching equipment that impacts golfers at every level—from professionals on tour to casual weekend players. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a Minor in International Business, as well as an MBA from Mercer University.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be working in the golf industry,”
Jacob shares.
“What I’m most proud of is being part of something that helps grow the game and make it more enjoyable for everyone. Whether it's designing better equipment or shaping how we bring products to market, I love knowing that what we do makes a real difference in how people experience golf.”
He credits Trinity Christian Academy with laying a strong foundation for both his academic and spiritual growth. The school’s challenging environment taught him discipline, focus, and critical thinking—skills that continue to influence how he leads and makes decisions.
“Trinity played a huge role in shaping my relationship with Christ,”
he says.
“It wasn’t just a place where I learned about God. It was a place where I was encouraged daily to walk with Him. Through chapel, Bible classes, and teachers who genuinely lived out their faith, I saw what a real relationship with Jesus looks like.”
Some of Jacob’s favorite memories from Trinity include Friday night football games, basketball games, and competitive matches on the golf course, all filled with energy, school spirit, and a deep sense of community. What stands out most is how students pushed each other to grow—not just in sports, but academically and spiritually.
Today, Jacob sees Trinity as far more than just a school.
“It’s a place that shapes who you are. You’ll be challenged academically and surrounded by people who care deeply about your faith, character, and future. Trinity is a place where biblical truth is woven into everything. It’s an investment that pays off in every area of life.”
We're especially grateful to Jacob for giving back to his alma mater in such a meaningful way. Through his role at Callaway, Jacob helped arrange a generous donation to the TCA Golf Program—and thanks to his support, our golf team is going to look better than ever out on the course! Outfitted with custom TCA-branded hats, gloves, golf bags, balls, and umbrellas, our student-athletes are not only equipped for performance, they’re representing Trinity with excellence and pride.
