Alumni Spotlight: Eugene Aman, Class of 1984

Meet this month’s alumni spotlight and TCA’s newest employee, Eugene Aman. Eugene is a proud 1984 graduate of Trinity Christian Academy and our very first Director of Donor Engagement. Now God has brought him full circle to serve where his spiritual and academic foundation was formed.

Eugene and his wife Susan (Susie) have been married for 36 years and live in Jacksonville, Florida. Family is at the center of his life. Together, they have three children: Austin (Class of 2014), Parker (Class of 2016), and Karissa (Class of 2022). Austin and Parker both graduated from the University of Florida, and Karissa will graduate from the University of Florida in May of 2026. Their family also includes their daughter-in-law Kelby and a grandson, Riley, who will soon celebrate his first birthday. Eugene treasures time spent traveling, hiking in the mountains, and enjoying weekends at the lake during the summer.

Before returning to Trinity, Eugene co-owned and operated a successful environmental testing company with his close friend and fellow ‘85 alum, Tommy Carr. Although he has achieved many things throughout his career, due to its eternal impact, he considers his work at TCA to be one of his greatest honors. He is grateful for the opportunity to help build and leave a legacy for current and future Trinity students.

When reflecting on his time at Trinity, Eugene shares that what prepared him most for life after graduation was not only strong academics, but also the teachers and coaches who cared deeply for him as a person and as a follower of Christ.

“It was the teachers and the coaches. They cared about who we were becoming and taught us how to live out our faith once we left Trinity. We always knew they cared about where we were headed in life.”

Some of Eugene’s favorite memories include Homecoming, Friday night football games, and celebrating afterward with friends at Mr. Gatti’s Pizza.

Trinity also had a powerful influence on Eugene’s walk with Christ. From Bible classes to chapel services to Bible conferences, Trinity provided a spiritual foundation that shaped his life and how he and Susie raised their children.

When asked what he would say to a family considering Trinity, Eugene’s answer is simple:

“Visit the campus, walk around, speak to the principals and teachers. You will quickly see what makes Trinity the best choice for your child.”

Eugene is excited about what God is doing at Trinity and is eager to continue serving the school and its alumni community.

“I could not be prouder to have graduated from TCA and to know that my three children have been part of Trinity as well. I have made great memories and great friendships, and I am excited for the future and what God is going to do!”
