Alumni Spotlight: Celebrating Sisters — Eli King Hopkins & Allyson King Daley

This month, Trinity Christian Academy proudly highlights two exceptional sisters whose journeys reflect the heart of a TCA education—Eli King Hopkins (’04) and Allyson King Daley (’05). During their time at Trinity, both were deeply involved on campus and were each selected as Homecoming Queen in back-to-back years, a fun connection that still brings smiles and fond memories.

Eli King Hopkins

After graduating from TCA, Eli attended the University of North Florida, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine & Athletic Training. Her career has been diverse and purpose-driven—from serving as a middle school Spanish teacher in St. Johns County (where she was honored as Teacher of the Year) to now thriving in the financial services sector. Eli currently works in sales and is recognized as a company leader in Revenue Growth and New Account Acquisition.

Eli and her husband, Brent, have been together for ten years and recently welcomed their first child, Baker Cruz, who is now four months old.

Some of Eli’s favorite memories at Trinity include volleyball and track, Spirit Week, and cheering under the Friday-night lights. She credits TCA’s high academic standards and rigorous curriculum for making her college transition seamless. Beyond that, she shares that her deep relationship with Christ was shaped significantly by her 12 years at Trinity—an impact she still carries today.

Allyson King Daley

Allyson followed a calling into healthcare, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida and later her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Jacksonville University. She now serves as a Nurse Practitioner in malignant hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant at Mayo Clinic Hospital—caring for some of the most complex and critically ill patients with strength, compassion, and excellence.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their two boys (ages 7 and 4). Whether traveling to the mountains or spending time outdoors, family is her greatest joy.

Allyson says Trinity prepared her academically—especially in English and writing—but even more importantly, spiritually. Scripture memory, hymns of the month, weekly chapel, and daily Bible class helped root her faith deeply and equipped her for the toughest seasons of life. She reflects fondly on football games, homecoming parades, and a school environment where she always felt supported, loved, and grounded in Christ.

A Shared Legacy

When asked if Trinity impacted their faith, both sisters gave the same answer: “Yes.”

To Eli and Allyson, TCA wasn’t just a school—it was a foundation. A place that challenged them academically, nurtured them spiritually, and shaped the women, mothers, and professionals they are today.

Their story is a beautiful reminder of Trinity’s mission: to prepare students not only for college and career, but for a life of service, purpose, and faith.
